The world is starting to burst at its seams trying to accommodate our growing population and consumption habits. We all need to play our parts in helping to preserve it.
At Crigen Accor, we are big-hearted, especially when it comes to Planet Earth. We want to help make healthier and more sustainable living easier for others, and we understand that it has to begin with us.
For our original equipment manufacturing (OEM) clients, we make it a priority to source for eco-friendly materials across the entire production process. This also means using recyclable or biodegradable packaging. Even the ingredients used in our formulations are safe, natural, biodegradable and, of course, eco-friendly. Additionally, we are working towards adopting safer and greener manufacturing practices in our production facilities.
At the workplace, we are cognisant of our energy usage, and are looking at adopting solar technology as well as other alternatives that take advantage of the natural sunlight and ventilation to reduce our reliance on conventional air-conditioning and electrical fixtures. We make sure to switch off everything when they are not in use.
Paper usage is minimised, and we favour digital documentation where possible. When paper cannot be avoided, we make sure to recycle or shred it for packing purposes. We also have multiple bins conveniently placed throughout our premises to make it easier for staff to separate their waste and subsequently make recycling easier.
Going green extends beyond the workplace at Crigen Accor, and we have initiated a project that requires us to nurture a garden with as many green plants as possible at home and wherever else possible.
We’re an optimistic lot. We are taking small steps, but we are confident that we are moving forward in the right direction, in line with the government’s directives for a greener and more sustainable Malaysia, world and future.
